First, I want to extend a sincere and heartfelt thanks to ALL of you who made the Seattle and SF RainCamps™ a total success. Without the support and participation from you, none of these events would have been possible. Bob, Ben and I, (and the AR staff) are humbled by the many comments, emails, and even calls we've received, Thank you!! It looks like our next stop will be in New York City, with Inman Connect. We're very excited to be coming out to the East Coast. Are You Ready??
"I am usually skeptical about the "seminars." I was not sure i wanted to be pummeled by vendors. Who does? RainCamp was not a seminar but a super workshop where we were never bombarded with "buy this" or "for just $199..." A hardy thank you for the straight forward, down to earth, hands on approach of RainCamp SF. My head is spinning from the great material and the call to look forward to change and embrace social media." Jeff Pereyda
The RainCamp™ Annual Platinum Access Pass

What happened to Atlanta !! ??? That show was always , as best as I could tell, full. Are you not coming here this year ?
I would jump all over this if there was a chance I might get to 1 or more raincamp. Sadly, the closest that the will ever occur to my location here in Canada is about 900 miles away.
I'm looking at New York and maybe even D.C. in May!! Is May the same week as NAR ?
What - still no Metro Detroit - I may just have to consider Chicago in March - have a friend there who is over due a visit - perfect combination.
Brad, Only 57 days until Dallas Rain Camp! I'll be watching for the details.
And I've heard from more than a few people that they sometimes have an awesome rock band to kick things off. ;-)
Wow! I'm so exicted you're coming to Dallas in February! And ecstatic beyond belief that I had nothing else on my schedule yet for the 4th!
Charlie,
We will have Atlanta on the schedule later in the year, yes.
Michael,
Yes, the DC event is the day before the NAR mid year starts
Cathy,
We don't have Detroit on the schedule yet. That's not to say it won't be on the schedule later in the year, but I can't promise anything.
Great idea Brad! I was thinking along those same lines as I do that with another group that I also sponsor. Really - you all did such a fantasic job - it was so awesome. Every Rainer should make a point to go to 'camp' whether they're new to Active Rain or a long time pro. I haven't had time yet to get all the stuff accomplished that I learned - so looking forward to the holidays where I can play with what I learned at camp!
Oh Bob saved you. Good thing too. I am hoping I'll be able to make Atlanta. Not real close, but close enough that I'll really try.
VERY cool - ok maybe not other side of teh pillow cool but ... looking forward to NY - plan to buy my super duper platinum badge very soon :)
WOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Dallas made the cut! See you in February!
Oh happy day! Dallas may work for me, then I'll head to Atlanta when you head there :) I'm in! Does this mean I'll finally get to meet all of the amazing AR Gods? YIPEEEE
Have you considered adding Nashville? Could you call Oprah and let her know I may come to Chicago? She's on my bucket list of people to meet...she ranks right up there with the AR Gods :)
In Seattle, we had over 300, in SF I heard we had closer to 500 - @Bob: I hope we're looking at some large enough venue's. :-))
Brad, what happened to Nashville. You can't forget about us here. There are many agents in the Franklin area that would love to attend a raincamp. Put us on your calendar.
Robert - Canada would be a nice addition, just not sure if and when that'll happen.
Susan, Lorrie and Kim - that's closer than I thought. I Can't wait! :-))
Marti - thanks for the feature! Band? shhhh....
Anna - thanks for the comment, and thanks for letting me use your qoute! :-))
Elizabeth - I heard a rumor that....... :-O
Brad this is a cool idea and i am just thinking about how fortunate i was to attend the Rebar camp you and Rich attended with all of the other bloggers in Houston Texas. I tell folks all the time to make an event like this because it's like getting expert tutoring on every aspect of Social networking that a person could imagine!
Brad awsome idea! I am in. with all the extras you get... even if I attend just 1 RainCamp during 2010 it will be a great investment. As technology changes all the time, this is a great way to stay connected and on the Edge! Thanks for putting this together.
OK - I just confirmed that this IS NOT a rumor!
RainCamp will also be coming to: Atlanta, Denver, Phoenix, San Diego, Minneapolis, Houston, possibly Salt Lake City and Cleveland, Portland, Nashville and Indianapolis. ~Dates TBA~
Raleigh NC Raleigh NC, Raleigh NC, Raleigh NC, Raleigh NC, Raleigh NC, Raleigh NC, Raleigh NC, Raleigh NC, Raleigh NC, Raleigh NC, Raleigh NC - PLEASE!
Brad,
I was counting the days until I go to Camp in NYC before this Platinum was announced. As I told Bob, you've already wildly exceeded my expectations for Jan. 12. Just getting better by the day...
And a teeshirt too! Offsets my airfare for hitting all these locations.
Brad, when yall coming to New Orleans. I promise you will have a great time.
Brad, YEAH, I am thrilled you are coming to Atlanta, too. Charlie, thanks for asking about the south. I can't wait. I might see if I can sneak out of town ahead of this, but would be thrilled if you were coming this way. All the best, Michelle
Woohoo more dates!! Now I just need to decide where I want to vacation to! So excited! Anything for Kansas City or Phoenix in the works?
Hello Brad and please give Vegas Bob a heads up when Activerain comes to Las Vegas Nevada!
VB ;o)
Looks like May 11 for Washington DC is is going to be my very first Rain Camp!
Okay, So I can actually make the DC Raincamp...WOOHOO! Do I need to go ahead and go Platinum now? I'm with Lee & Pamela...Raleigh, NC, Raleigh, NC, Raleigh, NC, Raleigh, NC. Also would be nice to see New Orleans (NAR National Conference in November) on the schedule. Any chance? You guys rock!!!!!!
Amy - here's one of the benefits of getting your Platinum Pass now. I Just got this off the registration page:-)
There is an extremely high probability that we will be in New Orleans for NAR doing a RainCamp. Also, I like the idea of doing something in the Triangle. Not confirming it just yet, but it would seem like a prudent location.
I will be in Dallas. There is a crazy little Japanese restuarant to check out called the Tei Tei Robata Bar at 2906 North Henderson. See you there for some premium sake.
I will be in Dallas. Hope to see you at the Tei Tei Robata Bar at 2906 North Henderson for some premium sake and good food.
Thanks Guys! Like I said, You ROCK!!!! I will go ahead and go Platinum...THANKS!
I'm going to the one in March.... have to see how many i can recruit to go with.
Just signed up and bought my pass...now I am off to sign in for mom (Marian Goetzinger). WE CAN'T WAIT!!!
It looks to me like a lot of those peeps out on the East Coast will have spectacular information "given" to them for their time and money. Thanks, Brad and AR!
Wow! This is a great list for someone in my area. I can go to Orange County, San Diego, and Las Vegas if I want. WhoooHooo!
Brad This sounds awesome!
On 1/27 you mention Orange County...I know of at least 2 - one in Florida and the other in So Cal and my guess is there may be more out there somewhere...so maybe you can clarify this...
And for those of us who won a free Raincamp admission at NAR Expo...is this the Platinum kind?
Looking forward to San Diego, Ca., in April.
I bet this will sell out in no time flat.
John - your Free Admission ticket you won at NAR will get you into any RainCamp you choose to attend! :-)
Brad - If you don't plan to come to Canada, perhaps you could have some locations reasonably close to major population centers. I think you had one recently in Seattle which is close to Vancouver. Perhaps you could have one in the Buffalo / Niagara Falls USA area as these cities are close to Toronto (about 2 hours drive away) where you have several active members. If you do this, make sure that the event is NOT during the winter months due to snow.
Hi Brad... I am down for February 4th. You can count on it!
Brad,
I was gone the time you were in SF. coming back soon to Northern Calif????? I donot see it on the calendar! Mel
Brad,
Come on man you have got to bring the Rain Camps to the South East! I would gladly pay that for a chance to go.
I just can't wait!
I'm looking forward to the Atlanta date... I don't know if I'll be able to make any other events... maybe you could just do a series here...
Clarksville, TN would be nice.. BUT... I do see Nashville on the upcoming list :) This is about 45 min away and I would like to get booked... Waiting on the date !
I'm impressed by that good-sized turnout that's shown in the photo. And that's awesome that you got such good feedback!
Wow, Brad, I wish I could become an AR groupie and just follow you guys around the country! See you back in Orlando and maybe Hotlanta too!
Wow!! Here in the middle... I'm so excited... I will be there in March. I have so much to learn and so little time.
I can make it to Orange County, Las Vegas and San Diego..... this sounds really exciting! Can't wait:)
The event out in Manhattan should be really informative. We are looking forward to it!
Sounds like lots of buzz for all the attendees. And the "donation" ticket is a novel idea. It fills the room, since you are paying for it anyway and gets the people who need to be there up front and personal. Sounds like a wonderful series and well received. When will you announce all the cities?
....and who is that beautiful young woman at the bottom of the screen in the Rain Camp T Shirt. Hope to see you at some of these events, in 2010.
Oh I am thrilled to see you are coming to Orlando! Definitely coming!
Brad - Woo hoo ! It would be great to attend all of the events. We really enjoy them. We are already signed up for New York City and are very excited ! You guys rock !! I think we will definitely travel and to go to a few more Raincamps ! What better way is there to network and grow your business and learn a ton of info at the same time ? ~ Chris
Brad - Just to listen to you and your family perform on stage is worth the price of admission alone! There's obviously a lot of talent in your family!
LOOKS LIKE THE TRAVEL MAP IS CALLING FOR "RAIN" :-))
Brad, Amy Hahn (daughter) called me last night so excited. We're signed up and planning on DC for sure. Would love to see anything in North Carolina of course, but I'll also try hard to make it to Nashville.
I can't wait.
Thanks for everything you do for us.
GLAD to see DC is on the list! SWEET!
Come to Tampa/Orlando and I am there!!!
I can't wait to finally attend RC in So Cal in April!!! Thank you thank you
Hi Brad- Steve and I are looking forward to his and hope that AR is still running this promotion when we get back to the states in a few days. Sara in San Antonio
good idea. Not sure I can afford to travel to another part of the country for a conference repeat, but I would go again if it came back to northern California.
Can't wait for Active Rain to come to Tottenham... OK maybe you can't come to Tottenham, but try to come to Toronto... We'll be there =)
Now that I'm a VIP, I'm going to go to as many as I can :) Loving it!!! This will be the best money I've ever spent ;) Hello Nashville, Atlanta, Dallas and Chicago :) (If Oprah calls me in time).
Cool offer! May be able to make DC. What are the drops on the map for? Are these the locations of events or the locations of Plat. Members?
You can count on me for Portland and very likely Salt Lake City as well. Maybe even some sunny RAINplace.
Natalie - the drops on that map above are just estimated locations of future RainCamps. It's just a visual, all the actual areas are already listed in the post above and in comment #20. :-))
HI Brad - I will look for you in the OC and a great event. Thanks for the info!
Wow. Did I really see Dallas February 4th???
Woooo hoooo!!!!!! I am looking forward to it in Phoenix!
I have my ticket for Jan 12 in New York and I can't wait!
Cool. Two opportunities near me - San Diego AND Orange County.
Jeff
Brad, San Francisco was, in the words of everyone who attended, AWESOME!!!
Looking forward to possibly the So Cal rain and definitely San Diego in April. Going to start promoting it now.
Thanks again for a great event.
I can't make it to NY like I was hoping, but I'm thrilled to see that you are coming to Atlanta!
I learned so much in SF .... my head is still spinning! So glad I went and the band WAS AWESOME!
Having been to SF just last week, I can't wait to see you again in the OC next month.
Thanks everyone for all the support and great comments here. We're all very excited about coming to your areas!!!
Christine - awesome, congrats on becoming a "Platinum" supporter, looking forward to seeing you again soon too... :-)
Love seeing the possibility of Rain in Raleigh, NC. What can we do to get you here?
How exciting! Now the only question is....can i wait till the April 8th one in San Diego or do I head north in January and go to the Orange County venue......hmmmmmmm
I'm going to try to make it to the Las Vegas one or the Orlando one. I don't mind sitting in the back *LOL* ~ Lana
All I can say is WoW - San Diego seemed to take on a bit of a different flavor - Stephen is great I met him at KW Family Reunion in Florida -the Virtual Brokerage is a great idea - and I agree most of the real estate office these days are pretty archaic and don't service their Realtors effectively.
did you say Brad you're not sure "IF" and when Canada will happen? I get the when? But did you really say "IF???" lol
Thanks Bob for the shout out for the possibility of you coming to the Triangle! I can promise you that you'll get a ton of support ( ME included)... As one of the organizers for REBCRDU we found the hunger for this stuff and the response here is almost overwhelming... And that map... Brad it does kind of look like rain's in the forecast for Raleigh... sweet!
Pamela
Charlie -
Perhaps you are thinking of REtechSouth? RETSO is always in the early Spring in Atlanta, March 25 & 26, 2010. Rumor has it that ActiveRain will be a part of the next REtechSouth. Stay tuned.
We will be in Atlanta with RainCamp, and Brad is right about that rumor... I do hope to be there since I missed last year with the death of my father-in-law.
Brad - I signed up today for the NYC RainCamp. I'm looking forward to it and hope to meet other AR members there.
I was honored to be invited, don't know if I will be able to make it all the way uo north in January, but I will try my best.
Is this your first time in the NY area? Are you coming across the waters into NJ? Thanks for the 'donation' based tickets, too. How many people do you have signed up for NY already?
I am so excited to see you added DC to the list! Looking forward to 5/11/10
Sounds interesting. I may need to consider this. I will be in DC in June... :-/
See you both in DC. I wouldn't miss it for the world! :-)
Bev & Bob - it's not sold out yet, but with all the folks already coming to Inman NY, I would secure a ticket asap. Time is running out.
Bob,
Looks like an excellent deal....if I lived in the US I would definitely buy one.
Jo
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!
I've just updated the date for RainCamp Dallas from February 4th, to February 2nd. We will be announcing the location shortly, but wanted to give everyone a headsup. I'm hoping that most of you who will be notified of this postings update will see this comment. Thanks.
great idea ! SF was amazing, and I'm sure it will get better and better with each production! You guys rock.
Happy to hear that there is a potential date set for Indianapolis, IN. I plan on attending and would like to know when a date is set, please let me know if possible. I'll be there!
Martin - we'll definitely keep you and the community posted, thanks. :-)
Is Chicago "sold out" ? not sure how this all works.....any idea on location?
Pat - I believe you can still get the Platinum pass, not sure of the Chicago venue at this point, but I know they're working on it. :-)
Any updates on the Dallas event yet Brad?
Hi karen, as soon as I get all the details, I promise I'll be putting up a post. :-)
cool thanx Brad!
I posted a blog on RainCamp Dallas Brad and if you would be kind enough to post an update on the Dallas event there I'd really appreciate it!
